Eight-time Grammy Award winner Anderson Paak worked in collaboration with Vans for their third assortment of footwear, apparel and accessories. For those unfamiliar with the rapper, he’s also the global music ambassador for Vans.
Titled “Vanderson,” the duo’s lineup is a one-of-a-kind capsule that pays homage to both old and new while retaining artist and label originality and “Off The Wall” attitudes. .
The limited-edition Vans x Anderson Paak’s Vanderson items are slated for release on Sunday, June 24, 2022. Fans will be able to pick up their favorites through Vans’ online store as well as at a few select retailers.
Although prices for most items are being kept secret, the shoes are expected to retail for $60.

As the label’s first Global Music Ambassador, Anderson Paak perfectly captures the notion of creative freedom that has set Vans apart for years now.
The rapper’s new footwear and wardrobe collection is fueled by his background, his inventiveness and his desire to empower his community. Both teams are thrilled to embrace this extended creative connection and unveil this campaign that hits close to home, in honor of its distinctive style as well as previous notable Vans collaborations.
The team’s Vanderson campaign is led by the rapper himself. Its campaign features young American actress Marsai Martin, alongside her family, including her sister, son, niece and nephew – Roni Baize, Soul Rasheed, Brooklyn Baize, Knight Baize, Kamia Timan, Paris Timan and Milan Timan.
Calling the collection his best drop and expressing his excitement for the upcoming lineup, the rapper said:
“Vans was super patient with me on this one. We met weekly in Malibu and designed these shoes in the California sun. This is my best drop yet and I’m so proud of what we’ve got. do !”
The Vanderson tie-dye short sleeve t-shirt in bleached sand, with the Vanderson photo print on the front, is the first item in the clothing line.
The caper straight leg Vanderson trousers appear to have a monotone cashmere jacquard and a small flare at the leg openings, while the Vanderson jacket has button pocket detailing on the front torso which is in the same hue.
The sandy-toned Vanderson sock, with an all-over paisley pattern, a flapper bucket hat and an AP-designed Vanderson dress lifted the whole outfit perfectly.
Vans Global Music Marketing Director Tierney Stout explained the brand’s idea of partnering with Anderson, saying:

Various iterations of the brand’s classic Old Skool 36 along with Authentic silhouettes make headway in the shoe pack. The Old Skool 36 style features a nubuck corduroy upper, while the Authentic style features tailored paisley prints. Inspired by the shoe design, the tongues are adorned with humorous “Vanderson” emblems and caricatures of the rapper’s face.
Vans and Anderson Paak have also engaged in a number of projects, namely Paak House, House of Vans, Vans Musicians Wanted and Sidestripe Sessions, in addition to the latest merchandise capsule. The rapper will perform at the House of Vans in London on June 27, 2022, to mark the start of this partnership.
