Multimedia player Shemaroo Entertainment has announced the appointment of Varsha Ojha as head of marketing and communications for the organization.
In her new role, Ojha will lead end-to-end marketing initiatives, as she will be responsible for driving all aspects of branding, digital marketing and communications across all media platforms for Shemaroo.
With over two decades of experience across the gamut of the media industry, Ojha joins Shemaroo.
Previously, Ojha was Head of Marketing and Digital at Radio City and Mid-Day, where she launched several industry-first initiatives and received awards for her campaigns. She has worked across media platforms ranging from print, TV, digital and radio including Sony, Disney, Zoom, Hindustan Times among others.
She will take over marketing responsibilities from Rahul Mishra as he took on a new role in Shemaroo leading the organization’s Web 3.0 initiatives.
