Role overview

  • A Marketing Manager (MARK-EXEC) plans, develops and oversees overall marketing strategies and campaigns to promote a company’s brands, products or services.
  • You conduct research, produce marketing materials, design new ways to market products, and analyze performance reports, among other marketing-related tasks.
  • As a MARK-EXEC, the goal is to reach the market and cultivate customer interest in our products and services so as to enhance our reputation and facilitate our continued growth.

Tasks / Functions

  • Achieve weekly, monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Generate qualified leads for other sales actions.
  • Work offline and online to achieve your business goals.
  • Design strategies to drive traffic to websites and social properties.
  • Evaluate marketing budgets.
  • Maintain marketing objectives.
  • Translate business objectives into digital and traditional marketing objectives.
  • Perform customer research, keyword research, and analyze competitor data to assess customer segments.
  • Create separate customer segmentation groups for targeted targeted marketing.
  • List products, services, and directories to increase search ranking visibility.
  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns using a range of techniques including paid search, search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC), social media marketing (SMM), content marketing, landing pages, email marketing, newsletters and cold calling Activities.
  • Provide ongoing analytics reporting, conversion tracking, and guidance for making improvements to optimize campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation and management of all digital assets, including online brochures, flyers, catalogs, videos and other revenue-generating promotional assets.
  • Maintain social media profiles, accounts and content and oversee social media strategy.
  • Manage brand and product campaigns online to increase brand awareness.
  • Improve usability, design, content and conversion rate of web resources.
  • Ensure that the company is at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Create pitches and presentations, and attend meetings.
  • Determine customer’s business needs, gather and refine specifications, requirements and/or solutions.
  • Provide first-hand customer service and support to customers via social media.
  • Identify and advertise new business opportunities for new and existing customers.
  • Generate sales, up-sells and cross-sells of products and services to potential and key customers.
  • Manage multiple social media accounts.
  • Serve as a communication link between clients and internal teams.
  • Exhibit cooperation and teamwork.
  • Any other task that may be required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Lead generation:

  • Qualified leads: 25 (weekly)
  • Meetings/Appointments: Minimum of 5 (weekly)

Marketing sales:

  • Conversion rate: 30% (monthly)
  • Minimum income target: N2,000,000 (monthly)
  • Content creation: Minimum of 5 posts (daily)

Business development:

  • Social media accounts: 30% (monthly).

Skill requirements

  • B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year in a similar position.

  • Experience in achieving marketing objectives, strategies and assertive skills when dealing with clients.
  • Deep technical knowledge of how technology can be used to improve business operations.
  • Aggressive persuasion, resilience and closing skills.
  • Strong presentation, organization, prioritization, time and task management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple social media accounts.

Reporting hours:

  • Monday to Friday (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

Salary
Salary: N50,000 – N100,000 Monthly.

Terms:

  • Contract of at least 18 months.
  • Subject to a 3 month probationary evaluation on the minimum wage position.
