Last name: Taylor Grimes

Company: East Mecklenburg/Matthews SERVPRO

Role: Director of Emergency Response

Why did you join the Chamber: I joined the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce because I wanted the chance to get involved in the Mint Hill community and meet those who are helping to positively influence it. I saw this as an opportunity to get to know others by networking and learning more about local businesses around (and beyond) our community. Additionally, I wanted to focus on sharing information about SERVPRO of East Mecklenburg/Matthews and the restoration services we provide to assist others in times of need, through mitigation and reconstruction services for commercial and residential properties.

fun fact: I have been in the construction industry since I was about 13 years old and learned from an early age how to perform various parts of the business to successfully impact others (on the job site and outside) !

Did you know?

The Pennsylvania Evening Post was the first newspaper to print the Declaration of Independence.

It came out in the newspaper on July 6, 1776 for all to see, after a local printer named John Dunlap produced copies of the declaration’s manuscript.
